the increased globalization of Taiwan’s enterprises.

* With the Chinese character “屏”, which is the core name of
NPIC in Chinese, embodied in the framework, the emblem impresses
the public on the Institute’s geographic location in Pingtung, the
most southern county of Taiwan.

* The emblem is geometrically shaped like a rectangle whose four
sides each signify one pillar of the school motto but work harmoniously
to generate a solid, harmonious entity.

The emblem, in geometrical sense a diamond whose shape resembles
the bead of a Chinese abacus, symbolizes the spirit of Chinese
Entrepreneurs.
