Objective

In response to the fast-accelerating trend of globalization, the program lays equal emphasis on theory and practice and the integration of modern technologies with a view to developing competent, innovative management professionals with global perspective.

 

Instructional features

The curriculum integrates global business theories and practice in its focus, with foreign language training and information technologies as part of students’ core knowledge. The teaching mode consists of small-group discussions and presentations to consolidate student abilities for organizing knowledge and sharing learned opinions, in addition to the cultivation of teamwork. Students are expected to grow into international business professionals in the electronic-information 21st Century.

 

Curriculum

The curriculum is divided into required core courses, required specialized courses, research methodology, and specialized electives. Core courses include quantitative research, international economics, global business management, international financial management, and many others.

 

Career prospect

Graduates may find an array of career opportunities available in the public and private sectors, either as trade or management officials or managers in posts that deal with international trade or business management. They are encouraged and assisted to attend Civil Exams or conduct further academic studies for a doctoral degree in fields like business, management or economics.
