Graduate School of Real Estate Management

 

Objective

The program aims to develop real estate professionals, equipping them with both expertise at management and investment analysis at the decision-making level, and competency in conducting financial analysis and assessment analysis.

 

Program features

Practice and theory are aligned and integrated in the curriculum so as to cultivate students’ ability to engage in academic research and making managerial decisions in the future. Emphasis is laid upon the development of excellent professional competencies, virtue and ethics, and global perspectives on real estate management.

 

Curriculum

With investment planning, financial analysis, operation & management as its focus, the curriculum consists of four major clusters of courses: (1) research foundation and methodology that emphasize the knowledge and skills necessary for academic research; (2) real estate-based studies , including economics, investment, financing and assessment; (3) practical management, development, and marketing of the real estate business; and (4) real estate-related laws and regulations.

 

Career prospect & future development

A wide –ranging career opportunities are available for the real estate graduates with education and training at the graduate level, including employment in real estate brokerage, land development, assessment agency, an architecture firm, real estate investment consulting service, banking institutions, etc. Also open to students are opportunities to pursue doctoral studies locally or overseas in the field of real estate, leisure, economics, business administration, financial management, urban planning, land management, and so on.
