Objective

Based on and embodying the practical spirit of Taiwan’s technological, vocational higher education, this graduate program strives to accomplish its goals of developing talents, making them equipped with marketing and logistics competencies, adapt at applying information technologies, and well endowed with global perspectives as well as a team spirit and business ethics.

 

Program features

Integrating information technologies and marketing & logistics management as its core, the program in its curriculum and instruction offers two specializations, namely Marketing Management and Logistics Management. To broaden students’ global perspectives, emphasis is laid upon courses related to international business management, as well as the strengthening of their language proficiency. Small group conference and discussion sessions are so designed and arranged as to develop professional managers with a collaborative spirit. Another focus of the curriculum is the introduction of professionalism and business ethics to cultivate students’ positive ethical value.

Four major categories consist of the whole curriculum: required core courses, required professional courses, research methodology, and elected professional courses. Details are to be firmed up.

 

Career prospect & future development

Eligible graduates are conferred upon a master’s degree and a wide variety of careers are awaiting, including product manager, product marketing planner, logistics planner and manager, strategic planning manager, system management & planning for mass logistics, EC business planning & marketing, management position in a variety of business lines or modes, marketing creativity & innovation, logistics technologies, and other management work. More advanced academic study in Taiwan or overseas at the Ph.D. level is feasible in fields such as business administration, international business administration, information management, industry & engineering management, or other business-management related fields.
