Objective
The program is set up to cultivate in students correct concepts about the real estate industry, and produce professionals capable of running and managing business in real estate. With an emphasis on both combining the development features of the regional industry and integrating in a comprehensive manner the courses and competencies required of students, the program is indeed practice-oriented and much geared toward market demands.
Program features
As its guiding principle is education and training of real estate professionals at the managerial level, the curriculum is designed around the life cycle of a real estate property: investment, production, transaction, use. In partnership with the enterprise, off-campus sight visits and practical training opportunities are scheduled and executed faithfully to facilitate students’ practical learning and application skills.
Faculty
All the faculties possess a master’s or a doctoral degree, plenty practical experience, and national, professional certificates.
Career prospect
Academy-bound graduates may continue their
graduate study in local or overseas higher learning institutions in specialized
fields such as real estate management, land management, urban planning,
business administration, and finance. Career-minded graduates may land jobs in
the private sector, the most popular being in the construction business, land
development, rental brokerage, real estate assessment, architecture &
construction agent, consignment agent, real estate consulting, building
management & maintenance, real estate brokerage, engineering/project
consulting, land affairs management agent, and other financial institutions.
Meantime, students are encouraged to take exams to acquire certificates that
demonstrate their professional competencies and employment eligibility, such as
in the field of urban planning, real estate broker, real estate value
assessment, and building maintenance & management.
