Student Counseling Service

1. Goals

The Institute provides a variety of resources to service students’ need for psychological counseling and life guidance. Our goals are to assist all students, particularly the troubled and confused students, to confront problems, solve difficulties, and grow happily and healthily.

2. Main responsibilities

Our lines of responsibilities include: student psychological counseling and psychological tests, promotion and activities for psychological hygiene, student claims and guidance, campaigning for equal rights for both sexes (including treatment and prevention of sexual harassment and sexual abuse), conducting guidance-skill training programs for home-room teachers, and planning and executing other counseling activities.

3. Activities

Seminars, featured speeches, film presentations, and small-group counseling sessions are frequently arranged and presented to enrich students’ reservoir of knowledge about personal hygiene and psychology. The topics popular with our students include equal rights, life education, emotional management, pressure adaptation, mental illness, and career planning. Psychological tests are administered on students to help them better understand themselves and plan for the future. In a nutshell, the school will continue to work hard to enable students to learn and grow in a safe and caring environment.
